These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hits Like a Six website and curriculum subscription service operated by Hits Like a Six ("HL6," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website or subscribing to our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before subscribing. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our service.
Hits Like a Six provides a rugby curriculum subscription service for physical education teachers, coaches, YMCA leaders, and after-school program coordinators. Our service includes curriculum for two grade bands:

Important Notice Regarding Third-Party Organizations: Hits Like a Six is an independent curriculum provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to any of the following organizations whose standards, guidelines, or frameworks are referenced in our curriculum materials:
References to these organizations' standards and frameworks are made solely to demonstrate curriculum alignment and to help educators understand how HL6 content connects to widely recognized professional benchmarks. These references do not imply any official relationship, approval, certification, or endorsement.
We incorporate these frameworks because they represent the most credible and widely adopted standards in physical education and youth sports development. Their inclusion reflects our commitment to delivering curriculum that meets the professional expectations of educators and administrators — not an assertion of any formal partnership.
You must be at least 18 years of age to subscribe to our service. By subscribing, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Free Tier: New subscribers receive one free sample curriculum unit delivered by email for their selected grade band (K–5, Grades 6–8, or both). No payment information is required.
Pro Subscription: Pro subscribers receive a new complete curriculum unit each week for their selected grade band(s) — K–5 only, Grades 6–8 only, or both — delivered every Monday morning. Pro subscriptions are available on a monthly ($19/month) or annual ($149/year) basis. One subscription covers access to both curriculum tracks.
Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All prices are in US dollars.
Free Trial / Gift Access: We may offer free trials, comp accounts, or gift codes from time to time. Unless you cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your subscriber portal or by contacting us at curriculum@hitslikeasix.com.
Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review your request.
All curriculum materials, lesson plans, drill libraries, assessment rubrics, and related content ("Content") provided through our service are the intellectual property of Hits Like a Six and are protected by copyright law.

Our K–5 curriculum is aligned with SHAPE America 2024 National Physical Education Standards for grades K–5. Our Grades 6–8 curriculum is aligned with SHAPE America 2024 National Physical Education Standards for grades 6–8. Both tracks incorporate principles from the USA Rugby Get Into Rugby pathway and the CASEL SEL Framework.
However, we make no warranty that our Content will satisfy the specific requirements of any particular school district, state, or institution. Users are responsible for verifying alignment with their local curriculum requirements before implementing our Content.
As stated in Section 2 above, HL6 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially recognized by SHAPE America, USA Rugby, World Rugby, or CASEL. Standards and frameworks are incorporated to demonstrate curriculum quality and professional alignment only.
All HL6 curriculum activities are designed as non-contact tag, touch, and/or flag rugby for K–8 students. No tackling, rucking, scrumming, mauling, or body contact of any kind is included or implied. However, physical activity carries inherent risks. By using our curriculum, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

OUR SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY CONTENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HITS LIKE A SIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hits Like a Six and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue our service at any time with reasonable notice. We may also update our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Sarasota County, Florida, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hits Like a Six regarding your use of our service and supersede all prior agreements.
